TELE2 - INTERNETTEN OP VAKANTIE ALSOF JE IN NEDERLAND BENT

Tele2 allows you to affordably pillage the entire Internet, wherever you might be in the EU. It’s like you’re still in the Netherlands.  To show this in an interesting way, we completely rebuilt a French village on the Route du Soleil and turned it into a miniature version of the Netherlands.  Together with Dutch icons such as FEBO, Jumbo, Zeeman, Amstel and Frans Bauer, we surprised holiday-goers with this new part of the Netherlands. A Dutch oasis filled with Dutch haircuts, Dutch snacks and dance moves – right next to the busiest highway in Europe.

Nederlanders zijn op vakantie altijd op zoek naar WiFi uit angst voor hoge roamingkosten. Bij Tele2 is dit niet nodig en internet je op vakantie alsof je thuis bent. Om dit te laten zien bouwden we op Zwarte Zaterdag een Frans dorp aan de Route du Soleil om tot miniversie van Nederland, met Nederlandse iconen als de Zeeman en FEBO. Vervolgens volgden we een gezin, dat na een lange reis vol verbazing weer terug in 'Nederland' was en kon internetten alsof ze thuis waren.

We starten met het verspreiden van de boodschap in landelijke media op tactische plekken (bijvoorbeeld grensovergangen) en pr. De dag vóór Zwarte Zaterdag werd de video gelanceerd bij Shownieuws. Vervolgens werden partnersites en vloggers (o.a. Frans Bauer) ingezet om de video online te verspreiden. Gevolgd door paid media op de social kanalen van Tele2 voor een brede verspreiding.
